About Me

My name is Johan.  I live in Minnesota in the USA.

I have been doing leatherwork since January 1978.

I like to explore new methods, tools and materials, and the way they are used to do various aspects of leatherwork.

I am also constantly learning new methods and to use new tools!

If you have any questions, I will try my best to answer them for you; or if you just have a constructive comment, leave your reaction as a comment.

  2. Dear Johan, I hope you're doing well. I was at Tandy store twice and your showed me a lot. I was wondering if you could show me how to bind a book (already glued together just needs the hard-cover)? I have certain ideas but I would like a knowledgeable person like you help me, or give me advice what tools to buy (and I will purchase the tools). Thank You, Navid

    1. I am so sorry I only see this now!
There is a store in Spain that sends all over Europe: https://tandyleather.eu/
For custom stamps, you can look at this blog post (I really like the first one on the list):
